Delete recording

Hello everyone, I have a problem and I can’t delete a recording. When I want to delete it, it says the recording has been deleted, but it hasn’t been deleted. I’ve already tried it with my smartphone and it just doesn’t work on all boxes. I’ve also tried resetting without success, without success. It only affects this one recording, I can delete all the others without any problem. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you, Greetings Peter

In Blue TV IT terms, deleting a recording simply means that the reference entry for a specific program is removed from a central table on the Swisscom servers for a specific customer.

If you can no longer “delete” exactly 1 shipment or a few, this is a strong indication that there is no problem with the software of the customer’s device, but that the corresponding table entry on the server was “corrupted” by a server error and Therefore, it can no longer be deleted directly by the customer with a “click”.

If such entries bother you, the way to go is definitely via the hotline, which you then have to convince to pass your problem on to second level support so that these “data corpses” can then be deleted directly by central IT.

Hobby-Nerd ohne wirtschaftliche Abhängigkeiten zur Swisscom

For me there are 2 recordings from March 4th that have “materialized” again and cannot be deleted. I regularly delete my trash. The recordings were definitely gone, now they’re back.

I reported this to Swisscom yesterday via Whatsapp and a ticket was opened, I also pointed out on the forum that other customers were affected….. let’s see 😉

@RomanE Also had the problem that deleted recordings were not removed. In addition, programs that I had selected for recording were not marked as such. So the sign for recording was not visible.

There’s a lot that doesn’t work at the moment, including the ongoing problems with the series recordings and deleting the duplicate recordings, it doesn’t work at all via the app, I have to click my way through the browser because I keep getting thrown out of the individual series recordings. I don’t want to leave the duplicates standing either, because if I watch an SRF box on the Friday evening, which is repeated x times during the night and in the following days, I have this repetition in the recordings every time I didn’t see it before delete them from the planned recordings.

But when deleting the individual episodes I can only delete one at a time and then have to click refresh because the other episodes simply don’t appear anymore in order to delete this one too. I can only delete another recording after F5.

Now I’m really wondering how incapable the SC is of offering a functioning service, after all I pay a lot for the fact that I have to “work” almost more than I watch TV…

However, the option to delete scheduled recordings still exists. If I want to delete several planned episodes of a series recording, I have to refresh the browser each time, because when I delete a planned recording, all the others also disappear and only after the browser F5 do the others appear again and then I have to delete another planned recording again and so it goes on Play through the game until all planned recordings are deleted…
