AirPlay via Apple TV 4k with blue TV app doesn't work

Hello everyone

Unfortunately, it has recently no longer been possible to transfer the TV stream from the Blue TV app on iOS via an Apple Tav 4K.

This means that the Apple TV is displayed in the control center when you tap on the AirPlay symbol, but no image or sound from the Blue TV is played when you select the Apple TV.

Has the AirPlay function been removed with the current version of Blue TV?!?

If yes: change immediately!

This function is essential, especially since there is still no blue TV Apple TV app….

There have been various changes since the change from Swisscom TV to blue TV.

Some problems have not yet been completely resolved - this also applies to the mobile connection to the TV with a remote control.

Do other apps like the ARD media library or Netflix work?

If the other apps work well, wait a moment.

All other apps work via AirPlay.
It can and must be due to the Blue TV app.

It’s amazing that something like this can still happen today.
The head of app quality control probably doesn’t have any Apple devices or an Apple TV…

Does the problem occur on all channels/content? For contractual/licensing reasons, Airplay/Chromecast/HDMI out currently works at Swisscom. only on public television channels.

@BingeWatcher32 would be quite possible, but recently it doesn’t work with Android and Google Chromecast either.

I think that not everything is 100% finished yet. Very unfortunate…

What kind of content/channel are you trying to play via Airplay from your iPhone/iPad?

When I test it on mine, it currently works via Airplay without any problems.

I start my iPhone 11 (iOS 14.2) with the BlueTV app (5.0. 6) and go to Pro7 to watch the film “Edge of Tomorrow” yesterday Sunday at 8:15 p.m. and can then airplay this film to my AppleTV 4K (OS 14.2) play.

This works for me too. What doesn’t work is streaming from iOS to Chromecast #push

Everyone except appleTV+ (and at most amateurs like SRF with their playsuisse app) who don’t want to do this can do it. It’s no big deal to add this module. If that doesn’t even jump up the priority list, I don’t know what will.
