Gigaset E560 HX battery discharge

  • Hello everyone

The following problem: The battery of the Gigaset E560HX discharges very quickly.

Now that I’m back in the home office, I have to make more phone calls. I can barely get an hour of battery life.

The battery indicator on the phone shows that it is still fully charged. Seconds later the symbol is red and the battery is empty. It charges supposedly quickly (battery indicator full) but then it discharges even faster because it probably wasn’t charged properly at all.

I have already done the following:

    New batteries

Everything was disconnected from the network or reconnected.

I couldn’t find anything specific about (battery problem) on the web.

    Does resetting the handset help?

    Or do I have a “Monday phone”🙂

    Greetings Steff

    • You can put normal AAA batteries in there.

Have you ever fully charged new batteries on a different charger and then installed them in your phone? Does it then run longer? Ev. Is the battery charger in the stand also defective?

Two questions about configuring your E560 HX:

    1) Does the display lighting switch off after approx. 1 minute (display dark) if the phone is not in the charging cradle?

    2) Is DECT Eco mode activated? Recognizable by the status symbol at the top left of the display: radio symbol visible for approx. 20 s after the end of a conversation; The “Off” symbol is then displayed.
