A question from when can I watch ice hockey on the Swisscom box? I have Sky on the box but when I go to the Swiss ice hockey the service for Swisscom box is not available
As soon as Sky receives permission from UPC to also offer MySport via Swisscom Box.
or as sky and swisscom have been communicating for weeks: “soon”. In between, they also release different start dates, but these are not adhered to. “With us you won’t miss a game,” said (log) swisscom in a press release. The latest aurede from upc and swisscom is “technical problems”. A slapstick like in a circus is probably a more accurate description.

I’m so fed up with Swisscom’s statements, yesterday I ordered the SkyStick for Fr.80 including 2 months of free Skysport, mysports go and zattoo…
Already delivered and installed today. The ice hockey season can begin for me. 😉
In addition, you also have Sky Sport. And you can easily take the stick with you, for example to friends or to a holiday apartment in Switzerland. I mean, take the Swisscom Box with you 😄
I already have Sky Sport with the MySport option on the Apple TV, which I can easily take with me for 29.90 a month.
And we don’t yet know whether we will be able to watch the MySport channels via Swisscom on the go. That’s how I’m covered.
@roland9: in sky chat or from an official site? so far e.g. No press release from swisscom has yet been truthful in this regard. I’ll only believe it when it actually runs on Sky.
In any case, I’ll stick with my SkySport+MySportsGo and Sky Show subscription for 28.-, there were two Qoqa offers, all nice in one Sky account.
I can do without the channels eSport1 and Extreme Sports Channel, which will then be available in the MySports package from Swisscom.
I already have all the remaining relevant sports channels.

Yesterday, October 1st has the new ice hockey season started, when will it be available on blue TV? When I open the Sky app on blue TV I still get the message that ice hockey is not available in the app. It would already be autumn 🙂
The connection on both sides requires appropriate technical preparations and therefore a certain lead time. Both Swisscom and UPC are currently working intensively on integrating the relevant content and making it available to customers as quickly as possible.
As soon as we can announce a launch date, we will of course do so.

@ThomasS: Well, a “connection time” has already been mentioned a few times (in the 3rd quarter,… you won’t miss a game… etc.). and none of it was true so far. But then you shouldn’t be surprised if the consumer no longer believes all these empty words (since the summer!).

I definitely understand the anger. The press release had already carefully worded “should”, “in the course” and “promptly”.
“The offer should be bookable on the respective TV platforms during the third quarter of 2020 and thus close to the start of the new football and hockey season.”
Nevertheless, a deadline was set for the third quarter, which could not be met. This can’t be allowed!
Unfortunately, sometimes things don’t go as planned. The responsible employees at UPC and Swisscom continue to work intensively on the fastest possible integration. So that no new false promises arise, we will only communicate the activation time here once it has been set in stone.

That’s just how it is now, not nice but OK.
What annoys me personally is why the hockey games on the Swisscom TV-Box are not released in the Sky app.
Because it’s really just a matter of adding the right chopping and it works.
Why I know this is because it probably accidentally worked for about a week and then it was turned off again.
But of course, since Swisscom and UPC are now great friends, the hockey games will not be released in the Sky app until Swisscom and UPC have got their own apps running.
Right? 😎
