New TV Box and Harmony Elite

    Yesterday I received the new TV box (IP2000) and put it into operation.

    Unfortunately, I can no longer control the new box via my Logitech Harmony Elite.

    The Harmony handled my previous TV box (IP1200) perfectly.

    Because the Harmony hub was able to control the IP1200, I haven’t needed an IR dongle yet.

    Unfortunately, this no longer seems to work with the IP2000 without an IR dongle. According to what I’ve read on the net, I probably need one of these (handle). Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a compatible part available anywhere at the moment.

    Where can I get a dongle like this, or is there another solution to get the IP2000 to work with the Harmony?

      So the IR-USB dongle that was once available from Swisscom for the HD Box aka IP1200 also works with the UHD aka IP1400 and the IP2000 Box.

      I have this running myself and it works 🙂

      The UHD accessory kit will officially be back in stock at Swisscom in around 2 weeks.

    Yes, I’ve been looking everywhere for a dongle like this, but it’s not available anywhere at the moment.

    Could you also use the (old) USB-IR dongle on the IP2000?

    Unfortunately, the USB version doesn’t seem to be available anywhere anymore.

    So if anyone has a spare dongle, I would be very interested 😉
