I find it absolutely impossible from Swisscom, the TV Guide interface is terrible with the black background bad for the eyes. I want the option to select again. I wonder if competing products aren’t better. Unfortunately I don’t find any improvement with the new settings, rather the opposite is the case here.

I can only agree with these statements. This new TV guide is in no way clear. As if this is supposed to be a development? Swisscom simply wants to force these useless needs on us users. Please go back to the way it was before, that you get the films listed per channel, or can Swisscom really not do it?

The larger font for the film description is better. Thanks for this adjustment.

@“x”#985860I completely agree.

I thought I’d try to get used to dark mode today - we shouldn’t complain too much… But it didn’t quite work. So from the sofa I had no problem reading the TV guide with a light background, but in dark mode I have extreme difficulty. The second thing that is also extremely annoying to me is the constant change in brightness when you navigate in the TV Guide with the selection bar and jump to other programs, then the background image is briefly hidden, it becomes dark, then the new background image is displayed and depending on the image It’s between bright and very bright. That means it’s constantly light-dark-light-dark etc…it’s extremely annoying. In addition, the background image extends up to the third line from the top and if it is bright or has a lot of colored elements, then the text in the top lines of the guide becomes difficult to read. For example, you look at the picture of NFF format in the TV guide on SRF1 today - it couldn’t be brighter.

I would like to hear from other readers of this board what the solution would be.

Just like the black background, switching to white (as usual) is technically no problem at all. It is well known that visually impaired or visually impaired people have problems with black. The sometimes smug and slightly aggressive answers indicate insiders.

I wrote to Swisscom directly and will publish the answer here.

What do you want to achieve with the constant grumpy subject about dark mode? You just read here: I want the white one, not the black one. Do you think that will make the SC soft and you’ll get the white one? The only solution you have is to accept it as it is, it won’t get any better because I’ll publish it here. For me, the threat shouldn’t be like that, so you won’t get it either.

You’ll get used to it like everyone else.

Hello

Since 3 days and an update of the UHD box which I had to trigger with a reset (according to SC support) the TV guide is no longer white with black writing but black with white writing. It’s rather illegible and I would change it back to black writing on a white background. SC Support can’t help me. Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks and greetings

It is what it is. Switching is currently not possible.

There are settings for accessibility on the TV-Box, where you can set the font size to “larger”.

For my visually impaired wife (NHA), this has somewhat eliminated the disadvantages of the new dark mode.

The rest is a matter of getting used to it.

I also want to know how someone comes up with such a horrible idea and forces you to use it without me being able to put it back.

What if there were options like with a PC or cell phone,

where I could set this up.

The contrast between black and white is very tiring for the eyes and makes it confusing.

Just terrible, I please you, dear Swisscom, please please please change that again!!!

The new software was installed overnight and now I have the new, dark design. Confusing, slow and I can’t even adjust the order of the topic selection displayed.

I don’t want to have to click through “Editorial Daily Tips”, “Most Viewed at Teleclub Movie” etc. until I get to what interests me.

Innovative and customer-oriented is different. Please make an improvement next time. I want to be able to determine the order of the ads myself so that I can ignore all the marketing rubbish and tips that don’t interest me anyway.

Instead of getting better, things are getting worse, more confusing and more tedious.

I got the update to the TV-Box yesterday, I really like it, the operation runs very smoothly. Every keystroke is implemented immediately, so the problems with speed cannot be understood.

The TV guide looks good, there are always a few little things to complain about as everyone has different tastes.

I don’t like the font size of the film description, it’s way too big.

The list of actors at the bottom is a matter of taste, I’ll have to get used to it.

But otherwise everything (so far) is great. 😀

Hello @Markus88Stoeckli

Then you have to clean it up with the Logitech remote control and then it should work.

I control everything at home with the Swisscom remote control.

Greetings Lorenz

Sorry for OT… but what do you control with the SC FB other than the TV-Box?

AV receiver, TV, music system?
