connection problem WLAN-Box

Good evening

I have two WLAN-Box connected to my internet-box 2.

So far no problems.

But this evening both WLAN-Box are no longer able to connect to internet box 2. They are both flashing red.

I tried turning everything off and reinstalling, it doesn’t work.

I reset the WLAN-Box, it doesn’t work.

Given the configuration of my apartment, it is impossible for me to connect them by cable.

In fact, no device can connect at 5GHZ to internet box 2. It seems to me that there is a problem with the transmission power.

Below is the data from my 5GHZ WLAN

if a good soul could tell me if my internet box 2 has a problem or if it’s something else

Thanks in advance

Good morning,

I think if even your devices can’t connect via 5GhZ, the problem is with the internet box and not the WLAN boxes.

Have you ever done a reset? You can do this with a paper clip: just poke the reset hole behind the internet box.

ATTENTION: All configurations like port forwarding will be lost!

Then please try again if it works.
If that doesn’t work I call the helpline, they can do a full diagnosis and maybe even replace the device.

Greetings

Dominic

So no internet box 2, I haven’t tried to reset it.
I will try in a moment

but here’s what I found on the community

Try a reset - if you still have a few "0″s in the transmission power, like in the link you shared, please contact Swisscom. According to this article, the Internet box will then be replaced free of charge due to a technical fault.

To avoid having to wait long, ask if you can also pick up the device at a KKiosk, a Press and Books or a Swisscom store. Shipping from Emmen (LU) sometimes takes 2-3 days, depending on how priority is set.

Yes, apparently there is a loose screw. Contact Swisscom - tell us here what we told you. It would be interesting to know.

WARNING: All configurations like port forwarding will be lost!

When making configuration modifications, do not forget to make a backup on Espace client with the corresponding IB2 function. For the moment, the only thing that did not come back in my case was the configuration of DDNS with its specific login/password. And that was in the case of replacing the IB2
