New look for Swisscom TV with Dark UI
For a more pleasant visual in a dark environment or for more contrast on the TV-Box, we are introducing a dark display on the TV-Box with the “Dark UI”. Under “Settings” to “General settings” to “Appearance”, you can now choose whether the user interface of Swisscom TV should be light or dark and thus customize the visual of your choice.

Hello everyone,
@Grireppo11 is indeed right. It is no longer possible to change the background color of the TV Guide under OS4.
Swisscom has taken this measure following numerous comments we have received on this subject in the past.
Have a nice weekend
Good morning,
Dark UI is the default TV Guide display mode under EOS 4.0 and is currently not modifiable
This default choice probably comes from its great success under EOS 3.2
Thanks @NathalieSI for the clarification
Happy Sunday

Hello @Thantehest25,
At the moment, Swisscom does not plan to implement an option to change the color in OS4.
Nice week
And how can I now remove the thumbnails (which very often do not correspond to anything) in the list of recordings and schedules? Before the change I could do this easily, but so far I haven’t found anything yet…
On the other hand, I don’t like the black background… We must once again be given the opportunity to choose, otherwise we are going backwards.
This morning I must have written in the wrong place. Like many people, I don’t like this new background. In addition, I can no longer remove the thumbnails in the recording and programming lists. They take up too much space and often do not correspond to the program! How to eliminate them? I think I tried everything, but found nothing.
Can anyone help me?
Is there a new brochure available with instructions? If so, I would like to receive it…either on paper or as a PDF. THANKS.
I have the impression that under the “Modify color guide” section there will be a lot of messages, often negative (if there are people who are happy, please speak up!)…
For now two remarks:
- I wanted to do a search and so pressed the magnifying glass. The letters are first displayed in red, illegible on a black background, before becoming white… hence additional manipulations to erase the letter which is false.
**Modification at 4 p.m.: the letters have turned blue...still illegible!**
- List of performers - I ended up finding it… You have to go to “Additional information” and especially not press because otherwise you arrive at another show (the next one? I don’t really know). There is a list of performers with photos, but in 90% of cases, there are no photos!
- The previous presentation (which recently had been greatly improved regarding distribution) was much clearer. On the left there was the name of the character and opposite the name of his interpreter… Now, you have to go through the whole list to find out who does what!
- Example: I often see an actor whose face I know, know what character he plays, but don’t know the name… If I want to know, I have to go through the entire list to find his name. Please return to the old presentation as soon as possible.. You are free to add photos of the actors that we could see by clicking on the name…
For the moment I’m still looking for how to eliminate the thumbnails in the list of recordings and programming to have more shows per “page”!
