Extending or cancelling a subscription

How can I renew my Business App subscription?

Your Business App subscription automatically renews each month.

Can I interrupt an app subscription for a limited period?

No, this is not possible. You need to cancel the app and reactivate it as required.

How long is the cancellation period for Business Apps?

The cancellation period depends on the application and the version you have selected. Business Apps can be cancelled at any time. Payments already made will not be refunded. You can also terminate the app on a specific date or cancel it as required.

Which roles can be assigned in the Swisscom Marketplace?

The most relevant roles in the Marketplace are:

Company administrator”: manages all data and users in a company

Billing and App Administrator”: assigns and manages company applications and manages subscriptions, bills and payments within the company.

User”: users can buy and manage their own applications. Each user has standard user rights.

How can I update the roles of my employees?

As the company administrator, you can assign or update the roles of your employees as follows:

  1. Select the tab “Manage” > “My Company”.
  2. Click on the “User” tab.
  3. Click on roles on the left.
  4. Select the user.
  5. Select the checkbox for the roles you want to assign and then click on “Save changes”.

How can I give a user authorisation to use a Business App?

As the billing or company administrator, you can authorise employees in your company for Business Apps as follows:

  1. Select the tab “Manage” > “My Company”.
  2. For the app in question, click on the cogwheel icon at the top right and then on the “Assign user” option.
  3. Select the Business App required.
  4. Select the checkbox next to the name of the person receiving access to the Business App.
  5. Click on “Save Changes”.

How can I exclude an employee from my Swisscom Marketplace?

As the company administrator, you can remove the Marketplace authorisation as follows:

  1. Select the tab “Manage” > “My Company”.
  2. Click on the “User” tab.
  3. Under “Status”, select the “Deactivate” link for the employee.

Updating company data

How can I update the company details (e.g. company name) in my Marketplace account?

As the company administrator, you can change the company details as follows:

  1. Select the tab “Manage” > “My Company”.
  2. Click on the “Company Settings” tab.
  3. Change the company name or go to “Edit profile” to edit other company data.
  4. Click on “Save”.
