Bluewin email storage capacity

    Hi,

    Even if you use IMAP, you can create one or more folders locally (in your email client) and put old emails there. You will only have them available on this device. The space you have at bluewin (1 or 5 GB) will only be used by emails that remain in the IMAP folders.

    - Those which remain in the imap folders are seen on all devices (computer, tablet, telephone) as well as on WebMail, and are therefore counted in the Bluewin quota.

    - Those that are local on one of your devices will only be visible on this one. But will not be counted in the quota.

    Yes, I know the IMAP/POP principle well, but what I really want is to be able to have all the content on all my devices, including sent messages, and everything else.

    But no problem, I have other means (Google, Romandie, etc.) to help me outside the Buewin domain, no worries…

    It was actually just to find out Bluewin’s quota and to know if there was a paid way to increase this said quota, that’s all 😉
