WLAN & router: Display and change name/password

Do you have a new device which you would like to connect to the WLAN? Or perhaps a visitor has asked for your WLAN password? Let us show you how to manage your WLAN access data and how to log onto the Web portal.

Display and change WLAN access data

If you have forgotten your WLAN name or you want to check your WLAN password, log into My Swisscom using your Swisscom Login, where you can see all WLAN and router details and view your password.

> To WLAN access data

Log into the Web portal using your router password

You can also manage your WLAN access data through the Web portal. Here you can set your WLAN power-on times, configure the parental control function or change your Internet Box settings. You will need your router password to log into the Web portal. Type 192.168.1.1 or http://internetbox.home into your browser’s browser field (e.g. Chrome or Safari). The user name is “admin”. If you have forgotten your router password, you can reset it in My Swisscom.

> Reset router password

Corporate customers need to follow the instructions for your business router portal.

Please note: You can only access the Web portal when your home network is connected to your Internet-Box.

Good morning,

I don’t want to take up your reading time!

My comment: your new interface is “absolutely rubbish”… you impose an approach and use for idiots.

Also incapable of respecting the customer, such as, for example, you offer an internet speed which never meets the value of the contract subscribed to.

@Schulaufrei86 HELLO

Can you elaborate on the problem where you are talking about installing emails?

If this is the case, contact Apple.

Well useless I have the official answer from a computer scientist Apple impose voluntary restrictions to prevent any abuse of any kind of modification of their application.

Whether Swisscom or other Apple service providers have become very restrictive in terms of security.

@jabeetschen

Hello Jacques,

Congratulations! It’s great to start by looking for solutions in the forum, but it can actually become difficult with the number of topics and answers.

In this case the best solution is to contact support directly on 0800 800 800 and explain the problem to them.

Cordialement,

DanielD

For the subscription price, one would expect quality technical support. But I must note that the site dedicated to private clients is complicated and I cannot find what I am looking for.

As for logins, who is Swisscom kidding for imposing all these passwords? I naively thought that Swisscom Login would solve this problem and well… no, we continue as if everything was going well in the world.

Great disappointment on the part of Swisscom and keenly the competition

Hi by the way@“x”#988019 and hello to the others^^

you will know that this site is NOT for technical support, it is a customer support site, you would know that if you read the things on the website…

I am professionally a swisscom partner, and unfortunately, swisscom has the “least worst” service as I like to say.

If you want web support, it’s via your swisscom login in help, or by phone until midnight for your information…

“You thought naively”, but maybe you’re just not familiar with swisscom’s solutions and ways of working… Afterwards, when you don’t know, you ask people who know by calling support, or a professional of the domain.

Just go to the competition, you will see that their support is not better and the services offered are also… Afterwards, if you think that creating a swisscom login can help you out with something, it’s because you don’t know anything about it , the swisscom login allows you to go to the swisscom website and have access to your personal data as well as the configuration of your services (WLAN network, call forwarding, order product,…)

On that note, good luck if you switch to another operator… I tested salt (for symmetrical 10Gbit optical fiber), go to them, and give me news of their support, they are so good, that I canceled my subscription after 2 weeks… sarcasm^^
