Spam issues

  • Good morning,

Since the publication of the hacked Swiss email addresses on various online shopping sites, I have received a phenomenal amount of spam… naturally I check them as “unwanted” but that’s really a lot per day.

I guess there isn’t much to do? It would bother me to have to change my address because all my contacts have it…

Is the anti-spam engine intelligent and “learns” based on what is reported?

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Best regards

    David

    Good morning,

I’ve also been having spam issues for a few weeks. The addresses appear to be….@networksolutions.com.

I have contacted Swisscom several times about this but apparently nothing has been done….

    Hello,

same thing for me with this same domain name >….@networksolutions.com. I block them or unsubscribe and this continues to happen every day 😞

    it actually becomes very cumbersome

    Hello @devito

Spam accounts for almost half of the world’s email traffic.

Our spam filters learn, but the senders are constantly renewed.

    5 days later

    Good morning,

I’ve been receiving lots of spam for 2 weeks now. At the beginning I regularly connected to WebMail to report them as spam, it quickly became annoying.

Now I forward them all to spamreport@bluewin.ch. But I feel like it doesn’t do anything at all.

    I’m at 37 in 3 days!

Does forwarding spam to spamreport@bluewin.ch serve any purpose?

I think I’m not the only one getting bombarded with spam?

What is Swisscom doing to solve this problem?

I had to turn off the sound when receiving my emails, it was starting to bother my colleagues!

Hoping the problem is resolved soon…

    Greetings

    Pierre-Alain

    Edit:

1 more, time to write this message!

It should be possible to simply filter with subjects:

    Good morning,

Normally to report spam, you must log into WebMail, select spam in the inbox and click on junk.

But it’s quite tedious, especially from a smartphone.

    - Can you also, from your smartphone, select it and move it to the imap “Spam” directory?

Does this also signal Swisscom and update their filter?

    - Can we simply forward it to spamreport@bluewin.ch?

Simply re-transmit it or do you have to do a special manipulation and copy a header or something else then send a message to spamreport@bluewin.ch?

    - Is there another solution? (apart from changing your email)

With 15 to 20 spam messages per day, unfiltered, it becomes very annoying.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello everyone,

Our specialists are aware of this phenomenon and are currently taking measures to correct it. For the moment, they recommend that you continue to report spam from Webmail or via the email address indicated by @LeylaG.

    Beautiful day

    Good morning,

I am currently receiving a large number of emails (spam) in German.

Isn’t it possible to block all emails that are not in French?

    THANKS

Tracking the list of spam topics most often received.

Apparently the topics were explicit enough for a moderator to delete them, but not enough for the spam filter to do the same.

    Good morning.

Recently, a colossal number of spam emails have been arriving at my address, has there been a change to your filter?

Because when I say a lot, it’s really huge, one or two passing through, it happens, but for a few weeks it’s been several dozen per day.

Putting them in the spam folder, with reporting, doesn’t seem to change much.

    Good morning,

Just like Devito, I changed my password for my Email account. However, I keep receiving spam emails which I immediately place in my junk folder. However, spam appears on my iPhone but not on the same email address on my computer. Could anyone give me some advice?

    <thanks in advance

    Good morning,

For almost a month, I have had up to 15 spam messages per day in my main mailbox. I report them, but apparently nothing happens. Why can’t we give a generic address in the blocked senders list?

I would specifically like to block all addresses containing *testo*, *ultra*, *russian*, *CBD*, *bitcoin*, *iphone", *burger*. Please tell me how to do it.
I am very disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and efficiency from Swisscom, I clearly expect better service, with less than a month of waiting in this type of case.

    Greetings,
    Jeff

    Massive spamming

    Hello.

I find it hard to imagine that Swisscom cannot adapt its filters because the spam always concerns the same questions: sex, bitcoins, CBD, etc.

And the response from Swisscom which claims to only be able to control shipments coming from bluewin messaging does not convince me. It’s 2019.

Thank you for making an effort.

With just 3 keywords, that would remove half of it. I simply did a search in my emails:

TestoUltra: 18 spams, Essential CBD: 7 spams, Tipps24: 4 spams

Result: 29 out of 58 unfiltered spam! Half!!!!

Is it so complicated to already add these 3 keywords to search for spam?

Edit: Time to write this message, 1 more “TestoUltra” spam!

Edit2: And yet 1 more “TestoUltra”! Ggggrrrrr!
