If Sky has the rights, it is far from certain that it will also run on Teleclub, as the example of the Bundesliga has shown. The only thing that is certain so far is that it will run via the Sky (Sport) CH app.

It will probably be broadcast on UPC’s own sports channel (MySports). I wouldn’t be surprised.

Not transferred, I just spoke to Swisscom customer service about it! The license has probably focused on transmissions that are not already included in the basic offer (not premuim).

According to EPG data, Formula 1 will be broadcast on Sky Sport 1 HD.
Hopefully there won’t be a black screen during the event.

Dear XYZ,

Thank you very much for your inquiry.

The Formula 1 broadcasts are not part of the Sky program on Teleclub. Therefore, Sky “blacks out” the broadcasts during the broadcasts. For information about the Sky Sport app, we ask you to contact Sky directly.

Formula 1 can now be watched in UHD on the Swisscom box via the Sky Sport app, as well as one Buli game per week. Of course also via the Apple TV 4K box and Sony and Philips devices with the latest Android version (Samsung TV will follow in a few weeks).

Image interference during Formula 1 races and qualifying on the UHD signal from the Sky.de app via the Swisscom TV Box

I can confirm!
- Image disturbance, image border at top/bottom.
- Black screen (sound playing).
- Flickering of the TV-Box menu after closing the Sky UHD stream. Restarting the box is necessary.

Very annoying!

The image disruptions can even be seen in the replays. So it seems to be a faulty basic signal from Sky.

Sky has just sent us a new version of their app with improvements for UHD content…
This will now be checked and will be sent to all customers in a few days.

The date for the rollout of this app has not yet been fixed.
