As far as I know, Liberty Media is the majority owner of Formula 1. Liberty Media, in turn, also owns UPC. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were contractually stipulated that Sky has to give the rights in Switzerland to UPC and Teleclub is looking in the wrong direction.
On www.sky.ch F1 is already listed as a sport that will be broadcast. I just hope that at least it gets there. Swisscom TV would be nice, but I can’t see it.
Formula 1 can now be watched in UHD on the Swisscom box via the Sky Sport app, as well as one Buli game per week. Of course also via the Apple TV 4K box and Sony and Philips devices with the latest Android version (Samsung TV will follow in a few weeks).
