Should it also work via VPN with your own home network, or have I missed something?

Apparently Blue TV now recognizes when you have VPN turned on… even within Switzerland I couldn’t watch live on a public, unsecured WiFi for protection… Swisscom network wasn’t stable enough there. If this is stopped, I will no longer need the expensive TV subscription.

Watching TV during the holidays is really not that important to me that I would try any solution via VPN etc. During the holidays I enjoy the country, the people, the culture, but no TV 😎.

for recordings download them before viewing them

delete browsing data

perform a reset/reboot of the device used

Everything works for me abroad, both with VPN via my Internetbox II and with a Surfshark subscription. This costs just 60 CHF for 2 years and can be installed on any number of devices and can be set so that the VPN only works selected app is activated…

For legal reasons, it is possible to receive and watch Swisscom blue Live TV only in Switzerland. However, when abroad, you can view the recordings made before your trip.

When you are abroad, you just have to wait until the desired program has started a few minutes ago and watch it in replay. We can therefore see it slightly delayed. That’s what I’ve been doing for the last three weeks.

Thanks for the replay tip which I didn’t even try to test when I was recently abroad. I have a colleague who uses his NAS at his main home to watch live Blue TV at his second home in neighboring France, and he told me it works well.

In fact I downloaded blue TV a replay, to view my recordings on a Samsung TV that I bought for the holidays.

It worked I was able to watch my recordings, During a day.

I then disconnected to switch to the Español channels. When I wanted to go back to blue TV recording I couldn’t get there, I tried everything, I can’t connect anymore
