Where can I find the roaming fees for e.g. 1 MB mobile data?

@Andreas F There is no general answer because the tariffs depend on the country of residence. Swisscom also no longer charges prices per MB. With a few exceptions, there are only data packages. (if an existing internal volume has been used up)

You can find the respective prices per country and data package, for example. B on https://cockpit.swisscom.ch where you select the desired country. Hope this helps.

Once the 40GB has been used up, the speed will be throttled until the end of the month, but there will be no costs. Such limits are common for roaming.

When will roaming fees finally be abolished, like in the EU????

Unfortunately, Swisscom is still making stupid money from roaming fees. All other EU countries have managed it and finally abolished the old tradition.

Only when we are in the EU… or maybe with a framework agreement?? Why should the other countries accommodate Switzerland with roaming costs if we are not a member? We decided on the special route and there are also disadvantages.

But by applying the above advice (including purchasing SIM cards abroad) I have never had a roaming cost surprise.

If we had joined the EEA back then, we wouldn’t have roaming charges now. See Lichtenstein, you can make calls and surf the internet throughout the EU without roaming.
