TV automatisch mit HDMI-Kanal starten

Start TV automatically using the HDMI channel

Depending on your TV, you may have come across the following problem: you have to reselect the correct HDMI channel to watch blue TV each time you switch your TV on. The TV does not automatically store the most recently chosen channel. Find out how to prevent this.

If you mainly use your TV to watch blue TV, it can be annoying to have to select the correct HDMI channel every time you switch it on. More recent TVs save the HDMI channel used most recently. If your TV set does not do this (e.g. Panasonic TVs or older Samsung devices), we recommend that you operate your TV in “hotel mode”.

  1. Press and hold the channel button on the TV.
  2. At the same time, press the AV button on the remote control three times.
  3. From the menu that appears, select the HDMI channel that you want to start automatically when the TV is switched on.

That works! I have been looking for this solution for many years. Thank you MiriamF. I love you. Panasonic TV.

In other forum it also says:

“You can do this with hotel mode.
With the TV switched on (an input must be selected), hold down the -/v button on the device and press the AV button 3x on the remote control (aim at the infrared sensor). In the menu that now appears, set “Hotel Mode” to “ON”. Under “Initial Input” you can select the input with which the TV should start. Attention Leave “Button Lock” and “Remote Lock” unchanged (Off). With “Exit you come back.”
