The big Swisscom TV wish thread

At least for Christmas are you putting on some new channels in Italian?
It’s been a long time since you posted anything. And not just the only one who thinks so.

First of all you could replace Fineliving with a new channel like for example

• HISTORY CHANNEL*
• FOCUS*
• FOX
• FOXCRIME
• FOXLIVE
• LA NOVE channel IN HD*

Other channels that users want are also

• Paramount Channel*
• 7 Gold*
• Tgcom24*
  *Cartoon Network*

* already present at the competition for a long time.

I would be happy to take advantage of the opportunity you mentioned to express a wish: As has been written and wished several times in the German-speaking and especially Italian-speaking community, it would be dearly desired and about time for the Italian-speaking population of this country to once again be in control in terms of the number of channels, PayTv and other services are taken into account and adapted to the products of other national languages. This language group is massively disadvantaged compared to the other two national languages. Thanks!

TV tips that cannot be received when the subscription is logged in should not only be marked as not receivable, but simply hidden completely.

If the advertising department gets in the way of this, perhaps ask them to introduce a cheap additional Prime subscription for Swisscom TV without Swisscom and Teleclub advertising.

I already think Swisscom TV is the best solution in the Swiss market - but what if I could recommend films to friends - i.e. they see my recommendation on their home screen (at least as long as replay is available)? Those would be the best tips… and the most personal.

Of course, it would be even nicer if I could share recordings with my friends - like in the good old days with VHS cassettes.

Sky go would of course also be a cool thing.

And speaking of channels, some Croatian ones would be very nice. There are some where there are also sports broadcasts.

HDMI CEC is still sorely missed. If you run an Apple TV or other device on the side, switching to another source becomes a hassle. I can also activate it hidden somewhere in the menu, as long as the function is available. Thanks!

We have already carried out tests with HDMI-CEC. The problem is that with all the big manufacturers like Samsung, Toshiba, Sony etc. we have to go into the master and/vs. Slave Issues advised. This can cause problems for customers - who are less savvy like you and me.

The major device manufacturers can use the masters and/or vs. Simply solve the slave issue under your devices and offer the function. Do you have e.g. a Sony TV, Sony Soundbar and PS4, then HDMI-CEC works wonderfully. I can’t get the function to work with my Samsung, Denon and PS4. Only my Denon & TV don’t get along.

In summary, I can tell you that we have the issue on our radar, but are looking for a “simple” solution.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m not really interested in which provider has how many channels on offer, or do you want to motivate me to change provider? J I am generally a satisfied 4-Play Swisscom customer and would like the offer to be available to Italian speakers

When I see the number of channels and various offers in German and French, I have to assume that there were obviously no problems with obtaining broadcasting rights. This amazes me. If anything, it’s probably more down to will and commercial reasons. Nevertheless, I and my Italian-speaking fellow citizens of this country hope that Swisscom will make an effort in this regard for the third national language.

My wish list:

-A new TV-Box with the latest Android so that Netflix can also be output in DD 5.1

-New APP’s: DAZN, Twitch and KODI

-All apps can be inserted and sorted into the theme world bar

-The additional packages for German, Francais and Italiano should be supplemented with additional pay TV light channels, e.g. SyFy, even if it costs more

Please give us the 7-day REPLAY function back on TV Air! Us = loyal, long-standing Swisscom customers (Internet & telephone subscriptions with you, but not yet a TV subscription, as your box solution simply doesn’t work as reliably and simply as a DigiCard).

And by the way: The justification for switching off the replay function “because it wasn’t used enough” is pretty unbelievable (Sept. 17).

Since @Wulikaner hasn’t done it yet, I’ll just link his (and my) desire to go here.

My spontaneous wishes:

- I have connected a wireless keyboard to the UHD box. It would be nice if you could use it to enter text into apps (e.g. on YouTube) instead of having to laboriously use the pop-up keyboard + FB.

- Other apps: Browser, SC Home App, Apple screen sync, MS File Explorer, option for drive sharing with Win10 and MS server, RDP,

- The UHD box should provide even more technical information (e.g. Speedtest UHDBox <-> IB2, analysis of the streams such as current bit rate, transmission quality,…).

I just want HDMI-CEC to finally be introduced and a reasonable DLNA player to be made. The box has been able to play DLNA for a long time.
