WLAN Connection Kit

I would like to know if with the Wlan connection kit the internet speed is the same as with the Ethernet cable.

No. If you have a good network cable (cat 6) you will get a higher speed than wlan.

Wlan speed also depends on your environment: if you have a lot of wifi networks in your nearby environment and especially if they are on the same channel as yours.

thanks for the answer, but I would like to know how much speed it loses.

I have the ONE M subscription at 100/Mbit and now with the non-fiber optic socket I have a maximum speed of

60/Mbit.

My problem is that the fiber optic socket will be installed in the living room while my

desktop computer is in another room. So I wonder if it’s worth switching to optical fiber since the only possibility of connecting the computer with the router is with the wlan connection kit

My doubt is that I will have the same speed (since the Wlan connection loses performance)

We are a customer like you, I don’t think that a forum participant will give you more in-depth information. I have the old Swisscom Kit, I can’t find any difference between the kit and the cable. On the kit installed opposite the router I have a connections computer Smart Home a camera under test and Swisscom TV, no problem for my subscription speed at 40 Mbits.
