Move data from your PC to MyCloud instead of copying it

  • How can I move data from my PC to MyCloud (instead of just copying it) so that it doesn’t take up space on the PC’s hard drive? If I put them in the MyCloud folder in Explorer (or via the desktop app or via the browser), by default they are saved both in the cloud and locally on the PC’s hard drive.

MyCloud automatically sets up the folder for you. Take a look.

Only if you download the program.

Always go directly to myCloud using the link below via Firefox on your MAC and PC.

Normally I simply move the data from the PC or MAC into the __Online folder at myCloud_ and then delete it on the PC and MAC.

So via browser? But then they are still on the local hard drive (in the folder C:\eusers\ausername\yCloud). And if you delete them there, they also disappear from the cloud.

I haven’t set up these folders for myself, but always move the photos directly into myCloud via the browser.
