OCS on Teleclub premium it’s official!!!

In their press release they talk about an HD version.
In addition, they exist in HD.

Unfortunately not temporary according to the swisscom hotline. It seems that it is linked to the conditions of OCS.
Do you have a date for OCS go, because without registration the channels are useless.

Hopefully the image quality is not lower.

I’m positive perhaps but the recordings on Swisscom are done in the cloud and the quality is the same as live. In addition, OCS GO allows you to view programs offline, which avoids being dependent on the available cache…

My main concern concerns the servers, in this case we will be dependent on OCS servers and not those of Swisscom.
OCS nevertheless indicated that during the first episode of GOT, the servers had not held up to the shock. Problem resolved the next day and which did not repeat itself for the second episode.

The big competitor, Netflix, offers UHD for certain series. Any information on this?

I subscribed to TeleClub Premium to benefit from this new flower bouquet. Yes there are quite a few films and series, but much fewer than Netflix whose concept is very different. Here we can see that the current season, therefore the one chosen by the channel, no return on previous seasons. On the other hand, there are films all day long, useful for insomniacs.

Too bad we can’t try 3 months to better appreciate and make our choice. It is therefore a minimum of 1 year, or CHF 238.80 for the trial, it is expensive for a trial.

I don’t like to always criticize to appear eternally dissatisfied. But I would just like to do it in the possibility of trying to improve the services in the future.

Now no possibility of recording (and therefore of programming anything), no possibility of replay… But who are we kidding? The way we consume programs has changed. I hardly watch anything live.

So yes, soon an OCS GO application. But in this case, why make unnecessary chains. And above all why one more application. If in the USA everything is moving towards integration towards “single” interfaces, here we take pleasure in multiplying. People who have difficulty with computers should not even try to understand.

With Swisscom, we already have a superb platform which offers many possibilities. There is also video on demand and Play. Why offer yet another additional application and not integrate these new programs into existing interfaces???

And start by offering all the replay and recording options with all the channels! Question of rights? Since the beginning of VHS, broadcasters have known that we record what we like. And now it’s no longer possible? The day a competitor offers the perfect app with all the options, you won’t come crying. I thought very hard about Netflix, but anyone else will do.

You are absolutely right Henri. For the customer these channels are useless. Swisscom just wanted an announcement effect to counter the various announcements from competitors. Sad that this war is being fought on the backs of customers. In addition, we don’t even know when this application will arrive. I’m surprised there aren’t more critical voices. And I’m afraid the app won’t provide the same image quality.
