Since installing the beta firmware on March 25th on my IB PLUS and on March 26th on the IB Standard on my Eltern, no interruptions or other problems have occurred so far.

The beta is going very well for us.

A small bug that previously occurred with the Gigaset S850 HX when deleting the call lists in the IB Plus and Standard was probably fixed with the beta, now it works immediately.

Also, on the IB standard of my Eltern, the massive echo that the person opposite had during a conversation (e.g. me:smileywink🙂 disappeared when you made a call with an analog telephone via IBS.

Well, since installing the beta I’ve continued to have interruptions. Also in the area Swisscom TV. Actually the most there.

Did you switch the Internet box completely off and on again after installing the beta firmware?

Swisscom TV 2.0 could perhaps have caused problems with the failure of the power supply and then corresponding problems.

N.B. What exactly do you mean by continued interruptions, were these already present before the update?

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

An update: thanks to you, we found various bugs. Especially in the area of DECT and the general stability of the firmware. We are now working on finding the reasons for this and then fixing them. I can’t say a timetable. Anyone currently having problems with the beta should switch back to the latest official firmware. Otherwise we will make a new version available at some point (soon).

Yes, I restarted the box several times. There was even a technician on site.

I also completely reset Swisscom TV 2.0 last night. Continued problems and failures.
***By failures I mean that the box consistently loses the internet connection. (TV is connected via LAN).

These interruptions have occurred since the BETA was installed. I didn’t have any problems here before.

@SaschaS Please reinstall the normal firmware. It seems that your box crashed, which you then perceive as an interruption. I can’t say what triggers this behavior in you. But the team is on it. It’s a beta.

Hi GuidoT,
That was the case for me too. Yesterday evening I was able to observe how the box restarted (red status LED flashed), which is why SwisscomTV no longer worked either.

You should still give your parents an HD phone, e.g. a Davos. 😉

They already have an HD phone since they received the IB standard in December, namely a Gigaset S850 HX which is running great:smileyvery-happy:

The phone on the analog port is just the wired, nostalgic second phone that is used when the Gigaset is somewhere in the other corner of the apartment.

Dear Swisscom team,

For what reasons can Swisscom TV 2.0 still not be operated with the “Hide WLAN name” function via direct WLAN to the Swisscom Internet Box?

We’re sure we’re not the only ones. Who want such a function.

We have not had any problems with the current beta firmware so far.

I’ve had the Internet Box-Plus for a week and had problems with the loss of internet connections.
I described everything in the forum under “InternetBox-Plus no internet connection”. Also had hotline contact several times.

After a short time I switched to the beta, but still had about two internet failures.

I received a telephone from the Swisscom hotline on Thursday. I would like to please leave the beta on because certain irregularities in the boxes or related causes were discovered.
Still have the beta on it. But I rebuilt my internal network a bit on Thursday.

I installed my two Zyxel switches with a Netgear 8 Port ProSafe GS108E click switch and a Netgear 8 Port GS108Ev3 with the latest firmware for the switches.

My current constellation is the following:

From the telephone socket (only RJ45 output) go with a CAT6 cable to the IP-Plus Box at the Internet input. On LAN1 of the IP-Box Plus with another CAT6 cable to the Netgear ProSafe GS108E click switch. There are a few devices connected that are in the same room. I have also now used this click switch to replace my existing cable connection to the other part of the house, which I mainly need for Internet/TV etc., with a CAT6 20 meter cable. I use this cable to connect the other new Netgear ProSafe GS108Ev3 and my mostly used devices are now connected there.
The Netgear ProSafe108 series that I use now can be configured via browser or with the appropriate Netgear program. However, ideal settings are already set as default. If you don’t need a VLAN, it’s ok, also with regard to multicast and QOS.

Interestingly, I haven’t had to complain about any interruptions, reboots or anything like that since Thursday.
I still have the beta on it and am leaving it like that so I can observe it. I hope that this will provide Swisscom technology with informative documents for future firmwares.

Thank you very much for the attention and help from the hotline and technology.

With the beta firmware, Swisscom TV2.0 regularly (yesterday, evening, today) loses the connection to the router during time-shifted TV or replay. I also have this behavior when watching recordings.

Only switching the TV-Box off/on helps until the next interruption occurs after a while.

I have this behavior on my TV-Box which is connected directly to the router and on the second box which is connected via connection kit.

What I also noticed is that since the new beta firmware, I can no longer run the WLAN optimization via “My Swisscom Assistant”: “Your personal WLAN, which is stored in the Swisscom login you are currently using, cannot be found”. But WiFi is available and I can use it to access the network.

I’ll probably go back to the last official status.

I can confirm this “exactly”.

What I recently noticed:

I can no longer get the AP firmware down to the official version… Am I doing something wrong?

Show original language (German)

Thanks. I am familiar with the site. I can downgrade the FW of the box again. However, the AP’s FW doesn’t.

My current FW and AP are:
Installed firmware version: 07.10.06/07.01.08/893

However, according to HP the current FW is 07.10.06 / 07.00.61
