Connection throttled too much
I took out a NATEL Data L subscription with Swisscom at the weekend,
since I don’t have the opportunity to have my own Anschluss here in the house.
Since I know that every mobile phone provider throttles their customers’ connection after the data volume has been used up,
and I couldn’t find any official information about how much the respective providers throttle,
I bought a pretty expensive subscription (70.-/mt) in the hope that
that the connection can still be used after the data volume has been used.
But now I was horrified to realize that I could only get a ridiculous 8-10kbts in,
and that should be called unlimited surfing? Probably an indefinite wait!
I now inevitably had to buy a package of 1GB for 15 (totally excessive),
because I didn’t have the nerve to wait half an hour for each website.
Can someone explain to me whether this is the case with all Swisscom subscriptions?
Because if so then I definitely have to change provider =/
