    How do I easily find out what the mobile data number of my iPad is without having to ask Swisscom with the SIM card number?

    There is an entry Mobile Data Number in iPad Settings under General -> Info, but the value is unknown. Why is this value unknown?

    Are you connected to the mobile network? Is it a subscription or prepaid? If it is a subscription, you should see the contract with phone number in your Kundencenter. You could also insert the SIM card from the iPad into a phone and send an SMS to your cell phone number from there, then you will see the sender number.

    The idea of ​​changing the SIM card into a phone is good and works.

    In my opinion it’s not the optimal, simple solution.

    I’m looking for a solution where I can find the phone number directly on the iPad.

    Is there such a thing? Kundencenter is not possible because it is a business subscription 🙂

    That’s correct, it shows you the number in the cockpit.

    The problem was that I first had to authenticate myself using an SMS code because I was connected via WiFi. Now when I am connected to the Swisscom mobile network, the registration works automatically and I can query the mobile data number.
