hello everyone

unfortunately I am sometimes harassed by a person. I have already changed the number and only made it known to friends.

My guess: this person knows someone at swisscom and is given the number. Can I take out a subscription with swisscom under a false name or anonymously?

thanks

I don’t think it’s a good idea at all, if something like this were to become common practice then an additional door would be open for crooks and criminals.

N.B. Swisscom will certainly not pass on data without consent and if an employee were to do that without consent, then they could look for another job.

A problem will certainly be the so-called * circle of friends *, one friend passes it on to the next friend and so your address is known again.

And if I want to exclude my circle of friends? is there a possibility? It’s certainly easy for a Swisscom employee to quickly search for a name and the number. to pass on

On the one hand he is not allowed to do that and on the other hand he would lose his job if he did it.

However, if you are really being harassed, you can report it to the police and the case will then be investigated in more detail.

Why do you always come up with a Swisscom employee?

In any case, if you suffer serious personal disadvantages, then file a criminal complaint.

Actually, almost everything has already been said…

No, taking out a subscription anonymously is definitely not possible

As a test, you can get a prepaid card from Aldi, Sunrise or whatever and distribute this number to your “confidential” circle of friends. Let’s see how long it takes for this number to get to the person you’re harassing - at least it won’t come from Swisscom anymore…

Like everyone else, I would also rely on other sources. Can you exclude all directories (Local, Information, Search,…)? Depending on where you give your number, they will have knowledge of your number. You could clarify that.

If you have an IP-Anschluss (e.g. with a Vivo package) you can block certain numbers (as far as I know). Maybe this is how you get rid of the harassment?

You can’t even take out a prepaid “anonymously”, but this is mainly about terrorists or criminals who use the cell phone for criminal purposes.

There are black sheep everywhere, and from what I gather, this person is unscrupulous enough to always find out the new number, so of course there are ways to theoretically get the number out of a supporter. But just calling and giving your name and then getting the number doesn’t really matter. The employee would certainly get into a quarrel with Swisscom, for example because of data protection, etc.

But somehow, as described above, it’s pointless to find out where he gets the number from. It would generally be best to report it to the police; maybe they will find out where he got the number from and you can hold someone accountable

Prepay number from a provider that uses the Salt or Sunrise network. Then you only give the number to your closest circle of friends and wait. I am convinced that the number will find its way back to the person who is harassing you.
There are enough apps for smartphones with highly dubious permissions. I’ve already seen games in the Google Shop that require permission to read contacts? I maintain that this is where the hole is.

Or you have someone in your family who takes out a subscription for you in his/her name. Then you are no longer so easy to find (in the unlikely event that it is actually a Swisscom employee).

Very few Swisscom employees have access to customer data. These are just the ones you need for work/support.

Not everyone can automatically access everything just because they work at Swisscom.

And why don’t you file a complaint?!

And why don’t you ask your “friends”, who apparently aren’t all like that.

We’re not watching films here.

There are anonymous SIM cards available through various channels, but not officially from Swisscom.

Instead of getting annoyed, you can simply block the harassing number on your device. Then you can keep your number and your circle of friends and the harassment will come to nothing…
