TV Box 2.0 and Scart

My new subscription to Swisscom Internet and TV arrived this week.

The TV box 2.0 only has an HDMI connection, my old TV has no HDMI. It does have SCART, VGA and cable Composite Connectors (Three leads – red and white and yellow).

I called the help desk and they suggested I buy a HDMI to Scart converter. I checked around and these are relatively expensive. Does anybody know of a more cost effective solution?

unfortunatly not. I now that a new TV costs a lot, but that's the best and in my opinion best long term approach.

A HDMI Scart adapter will cost a lot and will be useless.

check out the prices for a cheap Full HD TV with HDMI, that's the best option.
