Swisscom IO

After a test carried out on the Swisscom IO product operated on an IPAD 2 from a abonnement Swisscom VIVO “S” here is my conclusion:

1) excellent sound quality (varies however depending on the wifi speed where you are)

2) possibility of using my landline number anywhere in Switzerland where there is wifi access

3) possibility of using my landline number anywhere abroad where there is wifi (tested in a restaurant in Belfort)

4) possibility, from my abonnement Swisscom VIVO “S” (+ option for landline calls abroad, i.e. 500 minutes/month) to call from my hotel room in Paris to a landline in the United States or Canada. Conversely, if my correspondent in the USA wishes to call me, it will ring on my IPAD and simultaneously on my landline at my home in Switzerland.

For those who own an Ipad 2 or an Ipad Mini and the type of subscription I have, I highly recommend this application.
