Hello Everyone,

Like you, I have the problem of unwanted reboots of the Swisscom internet 2.0 box. I’ve had this problem since I got the new internet box and I’m wondering if I’m going to put the old one back in its place.

Note that this problem has been present for approximately 2 years, the date my installation was started when I moved into my apartment. So the firmware problem is quite doubtful because it should now be fixed (??).

I removed Wifi + IPV6 management and will see what happens.

Good day

Serge

Hello, I have never had such a stable connection in the 2 weeks since I disabled IPv6. I left everything else, wifi, different settings that I had made on the router, I had opened certain ports, in short, left everything except IPv6.

It’s night and day, I almost feel like I have a new connection. 😄

Could the solution be here? It’s been a month (32 days) since I disabled IPv6 and my installation became stable. No more untimely reboots of the internet box. Hoping that it continues like this and it will be very good. In the next release we dare to hope that this problem will be resolved. Knock on wood…

Good morning,

I’m in the same situation, unfortunately I don’t really hope to have a solution in the next release because it’s a problem that I’ve been reporting for a good 1-2 years at Swisscom and the investigation has never yielded anything although it is on their side.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed though.

Nicholas

The 08.00.50 / 08.00.40 update was done automatically 3 days ago for me. I directly reactivated IPv6 to see if the problem is resolved, and for the moment everything is perfectly stable. I’ll let you know in a few days:smileyhappy:

Hello,

Observation today following reading Tortue Ninchat my box was re-released I don’t know when, probably 2-3 days ago. The firmware version is: 08.00.50/08.00.58/01103.

I’m going to wait a little longer before reactivating IPv6 to see if everything works normally. But since I currently don’t use this form of addressing, I risk leaving it disabled.

Hello everyone,

So I can confirm that the latest firmware solved the problem for me. It’s been 28 days since I reactivated IPv6 and no reboot, the connection is perfectly stable.

That’s it, I’m very happy!:smileyhappy:
