No problems here near Baden!

Do you go directly to the router via LAN?

Have you ever turned the router off and on?

In which district does the problem exist?

Yes, switched the router off and on, I won’t play any more games because the problem isn’t mine :-). Go via WLAN and router speed test shows good values. Download 204 Mbit/s Upload 235 Mbit/s. Just to say, I clicked on your answer in Outlook and it took 30 seconds until I saw the answer. I’m in Aglo Zurich-Nord

But these speed values are somehow strange!

What kind of subscription do you have?

Which router is available?

What performance values do you see in the router menu?

What does the speed test show at the link below?

N.B. The community forum is not Swisscom’s support, but a customer help customers forum, so everything about the existing installation must first be asked.

No, these values are ok. I have Vivo-L and the new Internet box. These values are from the Internet box via WLAN to the PC (AC standard 5 GHz), the Internet speed from the SC to the router is of course lower depending on the subscription. The speed test is from the Internet box

As a result, you have a fiber optic connection. If possible, I would also carry out the test with a direct LAN (Ethernet cable) to the PC and if there is the same problem with Outlook, contact support.

What kind of firmware is available on the Internet box?

no, I don’t have fiber optic, only recently 200 Mbit/s with the subscription:-). The firmware on the Internet box is also the latest. Further testing is pointless because others have the same problem.

As a result, you may have vectoring. If I were you, I would contact support.

It’s probably not a general problem but related to individual users, otherwise there would just be problems here in the community.

Even if the error pattern looks the same for 10 people, it can still have 10 different causes. So please do the tests suggested by WalterB with a PC connected directly to the router with an Ethernet cable. Disconnect all other LAN connections and turn off WLAN.

It is clear that it can have different causes. In any case, connecting directly to the router via Ethernet does nothing. I called the hotline last night, did various tests and finally reinstalled the router. Only reinstalling solved the problem 🙂

Problem solved, post closed
