HD-Phone Montreux: automatic call acceptance

    Does the HD-Phone Montreux actually not have the automatic call acceptance or automatic hang-up function or did I simply not find it in the settings? That would be a great shame. This works very well with the Locarno model.

    • Since Monday we have been distributing new firmware to the Montreux HD phones. The updates should reach all devices within a week.

      Also new in this update is the option of direct acceptance. But this has to be activated in the settings or the advanced settings (sorry, I don’t have a Montreux in front of me at the moment).

      The clock that many people want is now also available on the display. Otherwise, many small errors have been fixed that were probably not noticed by 90-99% of users. But that has to be the case too.

    If the phone is in the charging station, it would only be logical that when I call, the call will be answered automatically when I take the phone off the charging station.

    It’s pure comfort, nothing more. But that’s what an easy-to-use phone is all about.

    The programming of the Montreux has not yet been completed, and there is still a lot that can be done with a new software release. But I don’t know whether this function is included.

    The Montreux is my first radio phone that doesn’t offer this function, and I’ve had a few:smileyvery-happy:. As a dedicated landline phone user, I noticed this immediately. But I’ll get used to it too.

    Yesterday the update was installed for me. What can I say… THANK YOU SO MUCH!

    The watch is exactly as I wanted it (big enough and yet discreet) and the other changes and improvements (automatic call acceptance and search in the contacts) are also very welcome.

    I hope it wasn’t the last update with new features. I think that the device could bring a few surprises in terms of innovative features.

    I have 2 Montreux. The update worked for one, not (yet) for the other. According to what criteria or in what order are the updates delivered?

    Updates will occur within a week. If the device was commissioned on a Tuesday, the update will arrive on Tuesday, etc.

    If you want it faster… take out the batteries, wait 10 seconds, put the batteries back in and off you go.

    How do I see if the update is already there? So far I haven’t noticed anything on either phone and the battery removal trick didn’t help either.

    You can also see this because the entries “Show clock” and “Direct acceptance” appear in the menu!

    So I have the firmware with 35 on it at the end.

    Unfortunately I can’t trigger an update by restarting or removing the batteries.

    Is there another way to get the update?

    After reinstalling the batteries, it will take a few minutes for it to start and another few minutes for the process to finish.
