    Why does the new firmware of the Internet box (December 05.01.14) not have an application file included?

    It is said that the IB needs two files for an update but in December there is only one!

    • If you don’t have any problems, you can wait. The rollout is 99% in the next week. But there is nothing wrong with a manual update. As I said, 05.01.12 and 05.01.14 are identical except for a minimal change.

    The AP part does not need to be updated. Therefore there is only the NP part. The new firmware only has a very, very small change, but it has a big impact.

    For the quick answer, we hope that it goes well and doesn’t cause any problems.

    So until now everything was ok with the old version 05.01.12. You can install the new one manually or, better yet, wait for Swisscom to automatically install it.

    Our internet box has been going crazy for about a week, WiFi is constantly on and off (5g and 2.4g switch up and down), BW boxes usually don’t produce a picture when switched on. After switching the bw boxes on and off, TV Stream works again.
    WILMAA works perfectly.
    What is Swisscom cooking again? Is there any information about this from Swisscom for customers somewhere?
