Welcome SMS abroad

  • For the past few years I’ve been paying huge amounts of money for these unwanted text messages every time I cross the border. That doesn’t suit me. How can I tell Swisscom that I no longer want SMDS?

What kind of SM’s are these?

The usual ones who tell you the international tariffs when crossing the border? They should be free!

Otherwise, at the end of such an SM there is usually how you can unsubscribe…

    I don’t think that’s the problem here.

Do you perhaps still have a great-great-old mobile subscription - where incoming SM’s abroad are/were still subject to a charge?

    ….keep on rockin' 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

As you have noticed, these SMS are information from the foreign providers, which they have to send according to EU regulations.

A stop text message won’t help. And the SMS only comes if you haven’t been in a country for a while.

That’s how it is with me.

btw. As already mentioned above, receiving SMS does not cost anything. You should take a look at your bill.
