I thought 15 Mbit would be 15,000 Mpbs - that’s how it was delivered.
Technically it’s possible and I have very little bandwidth and actually almost no problems, even though I work on the Internet on my PC and watch TV in HD.
Basically, there would still be around 2Mbit freely available if 2 HD channels were running on 2 boxes, so you could still send emails or surf a bit. There are companies in ZH that only have 2.4 Mbit bandwidth and they “work”.
But if you do a lot of work on your PC, you’ll need more than 20 Mbit, for example.
I know customers who don’t come to Swisscom because VIVO XL + 1 Gbit with fiber optics is too expensive for them (which is true), but do you really need VIVO XL + this upgrade. What are they doing with their bandwidth? They have 10x more than me and it’s still not enough
15 Mbps = 15,000 Kbps = 15,000,000 bps
When it comes to bandwidth, needs are certainly very different. But precisely because I don’t know the person asking the question here in the forum, I would never recommend an 18 Mbps profile for 2xHD but only from 25 Mbps. It happens that the speed can fluctuate downwards and then you no longer have any reserve with your 2 Mbps.
