Internet box and DECT with Gigaset S810 Analog

Hello everyone

I activated the DECT module on my Internet box as a test. My Gigaset S810 Analog was able to connect successfully, the handset also rings when someone calls me, but you don’t hear anything when you pick up. The phone book cannot be accessed using the “INT” key either.

Does the DECT story already work for anyone? I wanted to try this out because it would make HD Voice possible… but unfortunately it’s unusable at the moment.

Greetings

I have registered three IP telephones to the Internet Box via DEC, no problems.

Have you tried connecting your Gigaset main station directly to the router telephone connection, i.e. not directly to the router with DEC.

It works without any problems directly on the analogue Anschluss via Gigaset Basis. I’ve now tried again and registered the phone again. Now at least picking up the call worked, you can hear something this time. But the INT key (telephone book,…) still doesn’t work.

What kind of phones do you use on the Internet Box?

EDIT: It seems as if my Gigaset S810H doesn’t really work with the DECT feature on the Internet box… is there a list somewhere of what phones support what?

The IP telephones Rousseau 300, the telephone book is stored in the Internet box where you can edit it, even directly on the IP telephones.

You can also recognize incoming and outgoing telephone numbers in Kundencenter and block spammers forever.

These are purely IP telephones, not analogue! You can leave out the basic station and log in directly to the IB with DEC.

Exactly, to be honest, I can’t find out anywhere whether the Gigaset really supports the CAT-iq 2.0 standard. It’s actually incomprehensible to me that you can’t find something like this straight away on the Gigaset website. Well, I’ll just connect the base station to the analog port…

As a test, I connected the Gigaset SL910 directly to the Internet box via DECT. It worked perfectly, but missed calls were no longer shown on the Gigaset display or via the flashing LED. I therefore reconnected the SL910 to the Internet box via base station and cable.

I don’t want to buy the Rousseau 310 anymore because it seems mercilessly outdated in terms of “look and feel”…

However, I suspect that a successor to Rousseau will occasionally come out. Or does anyone know what kind of DECT part you see here:

Exactly, the call list is missing for me too, apart from the telephony itself nothing seems to be supported. By the way, I would have to deactivate the Eco mode on the Stargate so that at least that worked without any problems. All in all there are just too many disadvantages…

Regarding Rousseau, I think straight away, I certainly won’t buy it. I like my S810 too much for that and I can easily connect it via the phone port in “poor quality”.

It would be really great if there was a list somewhere of what handsets are fully supported by the Internet Box. Apart from Rousseau, of course.
