Hi,
I don’t really know how you get 6 or 7 HD channels at Cablecom and 1 at Swisscom.
Arte HD, HD Suisse, France 2 HD, ARD HD, ZDF HD, Servus HD, ITV1HD are also present at Swisscom (+ a paid pack of 9 channels + Teleclub HD)
The first quarter of 2011 is a date given by the Swisscom press service, so it is an official source, but unfortunately as long as these channels are not really present it is impossible to have certainty.
Also be careful to check that HD is available for your home, this is by far not the case for everyone.
Thank you Zébulon.
For Cablecom there are currently: TF1, France 2, M6, Arte and HD Suisse, i.e. 5 channels. In addition, it is also possible to subscribe to paid packages for MTV, Eurosport, Nationale Geo, all in HD. For greater Lausanne, simply with CityCâble.
I am therefore delighted that the Swisscom offer is expanding a little, my termination at Cablecom is gone…
cablecom - swisscom = Migros - Coop it may be reductive but it seems to work as a duo pole and when one moves the other follows but none of them completely revolutionize the way of doing things or offering it’s a shame but we would say that Switzerland is reduced to suffering from duo poles in quite a few areas
However, for premium French-speaking HD Swisscom is ahead of Cablecom 😉
Naxoo: 7 HD channels (HD option)
Disney Cinemagic HD, Eurosport HD, Nat Geo HD, I-concerts HD, Syfy HD*, 13th Street HD*, Mezzo Live HD*
*From February 28
Swisscom: 5 HD channels (HD French+)
Disney Cinemagic HD, Eurosport HD, Nat Geo HD, I-concerts HD, Nat Geo Wild HD
Cablecom: 1 HD channel (comfort package)
Nat Geo HD
Umm…
Official Swisscom sources have been promising us TF1 and M6HD for a while now and so far, nothing. So, I no longer believe in a future date at all, I will believe in it when they are actually available.
In this regard, the big problem which will bring these HD channels, will be the recording. If you watch an HD channel, there is no possibility of recording another one. And when HD is widely used, it will be really annoying.
Good evening,
I got a phone call from Swisscom’s complaints department in Sion. Your line is perfect, the installation has been checked on site 4x. The sound shift on Fr2 is known but no solution. The micro-jutters on M6 and TF1, no solution and we cannot promise you that HD is coming. Our proposal is to let you cancel whenever you want, without notice, delays or costs!!!
How to interpret? I have an idea.
With the ongoing changes in satellite reception in Switzerland, again it’s not great and Cablecom customer service has fewer big changes compared to 2007; moreover, it is better to live in Zurich. We therefore have the choice, Swisscom Tv which is stagnating and whose quality of the box is lower, uspcale non-existent, line not allowing the recording of HD and HD viewing in parallel (but it doesn’t matter there are no valid channels apart from FR2, BBC and Canal). Canalsat with a dedicated decoder, Bis Tv with few channels and the famous Dolby Digital + rare on current Receivers…
Long live Switzerland.
No, not nice. It’s related to the film Brice de Nice:smileyhappy:
Yes Swisscom calls me to tell me that I can cancel without notice whenever I want for the same lendemand! This may be a sign that the system is not at its best. Especially since Madame can’t tell me anything about TF1 and M6 HD! You’ve been talking about it on the forum for a year and nothing planned! I’m hallucinating, it’s 2011, should we wait until 2050?!
I live in the city of Bienne and my line is top of the top according to the many technicians who come to my house. 4 boxes and 3 routers later I’m a little dry it’s true. Between two I had to change the HDMI cable which is worthless according to them. Since then there has been a slight improvement but there are channels which have problems. On the other hand, customer service is very good.
We are always well received and people are competent and looking for a solution. But there is none there and they suggest I look elsewhere. But Cablecom meh… I got in touch on their form. Response within 48 hours! Can you tell me approximately how many weeks it takes to unplug, activate digital TV, internet etc.? Last Thursday I wrote. No email or phone. This doesn’t happen at swisscom.
At home M& perfect? no micro-saccades? (excluding advertising) Slow box? (tv guide, blue button)
Ok thank you for your response. At home it’s continuous on M6, like slowdowns but very brief every x minutes. Worse with the original HDMI cable. In the meantime I changed TVs and the same.
This evening I am watching a film recorded on canal+ and there are also problems. There I had several passages with pixelation. It’s really not great.
Hello Raf from Nice we with Swisscom TV Vivo Casa **** we have the same problem as you, 8Box 4Centro Grande changed, 7 technicians in 1 month, but the problem was solved they canceled Swisscom TV and redid it. ’subscription to zero and there, magic finally of images without a visible pixel: smileymad: ways of speaking but clearly better no more problem with sound lag.
For the channels
and
It’s been a while since we’ve been waiting for them, already available on the Swiss television channel and it’s called Swisscom TV DIGITAL television: smileysad:
