I still have a Motorola router DSL with WiFi that I once bought from Swisscom

Would this work for my colleague? He still has an ancient one without WiFi… via ISDN?
or does he need another one?
hello Charlie2,
If you also have ISDN it would work with the router exchange.
Don’t forget to change the user ID for ADSL.
With VDSL, the router automatically obtains the identifier from DSLAM.
Analogue router on ISDN does not work and vice versa.
1. Because of the input voltage
2. Different frequency bands (ISDN services)

Which DSL WLAN router (type name) do you have?
3347 / 3357 / 7347 / 7357????
Depending on the situation, it can work as a sole device, otherwise you can use it as an additional WLAN access point - if configured accordingly:

A 7347 definitely doesn’t work on an ISDN connection - it would have to be 7357.
But you can use it as a WLAN AP as described in my PC tip link… But the question is whether such an old thing is worth the effort and whether you should invest CHF 50 for a modern WLAN AP or with Ricardo bought one cheaply…
