SMS Box

  • Good day

For some time now I have been receiving messages on my cell phone at irregular intervals via an SMS box.

Unfortunately I don’t know who is writing to me.

Is there a way to find out what number it is?

If this continues, I’ll consider a safety switch.

I would just be interested to know what costs I would have to expect.

Maybe someone can help me… I would really be very grateful… because I really feel threatened now.

    Thanks for every answer

    • Hello Marcus and thank you for your answer.

There is definitely someone who knows me and has my number.

On my cell phone it only shows: message received from SMS box, date and time.

I could reply…only then do I get the error message…message could not be delivered.

I have now contacted Swisscom and submitted an application for tracing.

I hope I get further with this, otherwise I’ll really call the police.

      thank you again

I apologize if my username is misinterpreted. It just came to my mind without any bad intentions.

When it comes to the content, I am massively insulted and now even threatened.

The messages come from an SMS box… I don’t see any sender, no number and can’t reply.

Hence my question. Is it possible to locate a sender of an SMS box?

    @schnüfeli,

That about the user name doesn’t apply to you - that’s “just” the signature of the user GrandiOS - he had a different name and had to change the name…

    On the subject:

I can hardly imagine that there is no sender. No 3-5 digit “value-added number” either?

Otherwise, contact the hotline 0800 800 800 or Expert chat

    Greetings, o.s.t.

    ….keep on rockin' 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

This has to be someone who knows you.

Since you have the SMS box number, you can file a complaint and the judge can demand that Swisscom’s phone number be released.

    Hello Schnüfeli,

For me it was SMS with the sender 880, which came once a week and always three in quick succession. I was just at Swisscom and they told me that they came from a company in Biel. The company is called “MOBILEtechnics”.

I don’t know this “company” and have never requested anything from them!

The cost per SMS (!) SFr. 5.–!!!! That means in a month SFr. 60.– for emails that you don’t even want.

Unfortunately, I thought that if I deleted the SMS’s immediately everything would be OK… wrong!

I don’t understand how Swisscom can participate in something like this…:-((((

    The number is now blocked.

    Good afternoon

I can’t find where the planned SMS is in the new version of Swisscom webmail.

    Greetings
