FIFA World Cup 2026 Highlights missing on SRG SSR channels (RSI/SRF/RTS)

Hello,
I would like to report what appears to be an issue with the FIFA World Cup 2026 highlights feature on blue TV.

My setup:
- Swisscom TV-Box (UHD)
- Entertainment OS 8.1
- Software version 3.509.040

When watching World Cup matches on SRG SSR channels (RSI La 2, SRF and RTS), pressing the DOWN arrow on the remote only shows the Statistics option. The Highlights option is never displayed, neither during live broadcasts nor in Replay.

What makes this interesting is that Highlights work correctly on other broadcasters showing the same tournament:

RAI: Highlights available
ORF: Highlights available
ServusTV: Highlights available

So the TV box, software and account seem to support the feature correctly.

I have tested multiple matches and the behavior is always the same:

RSI La 2: Statistics only, no Highlights
SRF: Statistics only, no Highlights
RTS: Statistics only, no Highlights
RAI / ORF / ServusTV: Highlights available

As far as I understand, Swisscom announced that World Cup Highlights should also be available on SRG SSR channels. Therefore, this looks like a possible issue with the integration of highlights data for SRG SSR broadcasts.

Can anyone confirm whether this is a known issue or whether Highlights are currently expected to work on RSI, SRF and RTS?

Kann jemand bestätigen, ob dies ein bekanntes Problem ist oder ob derzeit davon ausgegangen wird, dass die Highlights auf RSI, SRF und RTS funktionieren?

Kann ich nicht bestätigen - bei mir die Highlights vorhanden auf SRF &co. Also kein generelles Problem. Nutze Box 5

Ich habe eben bei mir geschaut. Ich kann das nicht bestätigen. Zumindest auf SRF 2 und den Partien

Deutschland - Curacao
Niederlande - Japan
Elfenbeinküste - Ecuador
Schweden - Tunesien

Im Replay funktioniert alles bestens. Auch im aktuellen Livespiel. Wobei da scheinbar noch nicht viel passiert ist.

Hast Du mal probiert die Box Stromlos zu machen und neu hoch zu fahren?

Edit meint, sowohl auf der TV Box 5 wie auch auf der TV Box 21 funktionieren die Highlights Tadellos.

Vielleicht hat ja noch jemand die UHD Box und kann das spezifisch mit der UHD Box testen.

Die aktuelle Version bei den Friendly Usern für die UHD Box ist nach meinem Kenntnisstand die 3.509.040 also die gleiche wie beim Fragesteller.

Bestätigen dass es ein Problem gibt, kann wirklich nur ein Kunde oder ein Friendly User wo noch die UHD Box im Einsatz ist.

Aktuell scheint es so:

UHD Box: Betroffen
Swisscom Box: ?
Box 21: Nicht betroffen
Box 5: Nicht betroffen

@Stephan_76 : even after having unplugged, plugged and rebooted the box, the issue is still there.

In replay on SRF2 I do only see “watch” (from the start) and in live I do only see “watch live” or “watch from the start”.
Do you perhaps have the possibility to check on RSI La2, please?

I confirm the software version is 3.509.040 updated last 31.03.2026.

Anyone else having the TV-Box (UHD) can provide the software version so that I can check?

D’après les annonces de versions la 3.509.040 est bien la dernière pour la TV-Box (UHD).
Chez moi cela fonctionne correctement avec les Swisscom Box, TV-Box 21 et TV-Box 5. Je n’ai malheureusement pas la version UHD pour vérifier.

Ich habe leider keine UHD Box. Kann aber Berichten dass die Highlights über die Box21 und Box 5 auf RSI LA2 und RTS Deux funktionieren.

Aber mal eine andere Frage. Die UHD Box ist doch schon 10 Jahre auf dem Markt. hast Du mal mit dem Gedanken gespielt auf die Box 5 zu wechseln. Wobei hier wichtig ist, die hat keine Kopfhörerbuchse mehr. Vielleicht kann Dir die Nummer 0800 800 073 ein Angebot machen.

@RomanE @UrsSch könnt ihr was dazu sagen? Ist das bekannt dass die Highlights auf den SRG Programmen über die UHD Box nicht funktionieren?

Die Sporthighlights-Funktion steht auf Sendern, die Replay Werbung ausspielen, leider nur auf den neueren blue TV-Boxen zur Verfügung. Deine UHD TV-Box unterstützt diese Funktion auf diesen Sendern technisch nicht. SRF gehört seit Mai zu dieser Sendergruppe.

Was kannst du tun?

Schau dir die Sporthighlights einfach auf einem alternativen Sender an – zum Beispiel auf ORF, ARD oder ZDF. Diese Sender spielen keine Replay Werbung aus, weshalb die Highlightfunktion dort auch mit deiner UHD TV-Box wie gewohnt funktioniert.

Vielen Dank für diese wichtige Information.
Ist aber eigentlich auch ein wichtiger Hinweis darauf, dass die IP1400 nun doch so langsam endlich offiziell in den Status „End of Life“ versetzt und durch eine neuere Version abgelöst werden sollte.
