Roaming Limit Reached

I am currently on holiday in Japan and have already reached the "monthly cost limit" of 100CHF.

However, I'm here for another two weeks and would like to increase my monthly cost limit above 100CHF

How can i change this? in the settings it won't even show me any numbers above 100 as an option and i can't seem to change it via subscriptions.

This may help you understand my problem;

I cannot choose any number above 100CHF and currently have no chance of adding any further data packages to use while in Japan.

Unfortunately that is where exactly my options don't go any further than 100CHF, so i am not able to change the monthly cost limit past 100CHF.

Hence why i am trying to figure out how this limit can be increased to for instance 300-500CHF?

Zuchille14 ok, I see, here it is written, that the limits must be set before you travel, so possibly this implies that the limit can't be changed during the travel:

I will take a look, if there are no other possibility, and come back.

Did you already check in MySwisscom under "your products" and "mobile"? As I have no private subscription I can't check it. check

@Zuchille14 I found the linked thread, with a similar problem, obviolusly the setting there were those for minor, which do not allow more than 100 CHF, there is also given a phone number, which can be contacted from abroad, but it is not for free:

I have tried adjusting or making changes through "MySwisscom" account and checking whether there is any possibility of increasing my limit. I've also asked my father who is paying for the subscription whether he has set, or can change the limit. However, it just seems to be a problem of it not offering me any options more than 100CHF.

I have seen the same thread being discussed by another person in the Swisscom Community, and her problem had been, that her settings were still set for a minor, but how would I change that?

Yes, that is the thread I am talking about.

Obviously I will try and contact Swisscom by phone during their opening times, I truly am in need of further data packages while on holiday.

@Zuchille14 I sent you the contact form below, I don't think it can be done by yourself. Another suggestion could be, that your father goes to the next Swisscom Shop, to find a solution with the guys there, or he calls the Hotline 0800 800800 from Switzerland, that's for free.

I will try and call them tomorrow during working hours, if I a unable to resolve the issue I will ask my father to contact them as he is currently in Switzerland.

Hey, wanted to give you a little update and insight on the situation;

Swisscom has their own limitations with every 'user' of data-roaming and therefore some may find their monthly cap set at 100CHF, without having the options shown to go above.

However, with a short call through the customer service line I was able to ask to increase my monthly spending cap.

Thank you again for your help, now I can travel flawlessly through Japan in my remaining time.
