New TV channels in Italian

    Many Italian language channels have been removed, either due to channel deactivation or lack of contract renewal, e.g.:

    . Sony Cinemas

    . Nat Geo People

    . Animal Planet

    . Travel&Living

    . Paramount Network

    . Spike

    . Science

    Unfortunately, the offer of programs is increasingly decreasing for Italian speakers

    (discriminated against users of other national languages).

    When will they be replaced?

    E.g. is already available:

    . Twenty-seven 27

    Other ev. admissible:

    . Telereporter

    . Telesample

    . Disney

    . and others already visible on UPC, etc.

    We expect Swisscom to take this shortcoming into account for Italian-speaking users who pay the same fee as others.

    • @gianca Yes, it is true that compared to other linguistic regions, fewer channels are offered, especially in Top Italia +, so I agree. Unfortunately, Swisscom never announces in advance which new channels will be added and when. I also hope that Twentyseven arrives soon, even HD versions of some channels where the HD writing is already visible (HGTV, Real Time, etc.). Furthermore, Telepace is again available via satellite. UPC currently has 3 channels that are not yet available on Swisscom (27, Crime & Investigation and Boing Plus), but Swisscom also has channels that are not available on UPC! But I also think the Top Italiano+ package could be even better.

    Recently some channels in Italian are no longer available: S_pike TV, Paramount Network and Discovery; over the years other channels have disappeared into thin air and none have ever been replaced except in rare cases. With what a subscription costs, I’m honestly quite disappointed with the situation.

    I hope that dear Swisscom finds valid alternatives to the Italian channels.

    I agree with all of you and opened a post asking for clarification on the matter.

    Blue TV is a convenience, it’s a shame for Italian speakers it is losing its appeal in the proposed television channels; honestly from my house, with an indoor antenna, I can see the Italian DVTB if we continue like this I’ll give it a serious thought….

    New channels have also been activated recently for Ukrainian users, but nothing in Italian yet, not even the new Mediaset channel Twentyseven 27 which has already been visible for months (competition).
    It’s a shame… and I’ll stop here!!!!
