Dynamic DNS internet-box.ch update via script

Hi all,

Having changed my Swisscom Box for an Edge Router 4 there is one nice feature that I have lost which is the ability to have a xxx.internet-box.ch DNS record pointing to my home router.

Do you know if there is a way to keep updating the Swisscom dynamic DNS records via a script, API or URL call?

AFAIK, there is no API.

The record is updated automatically. I even can’t tell you when but would guess when the public ip changes 🙂

Thank you for your answer. Do you mean the record if updated on Swisscom side even if I do not not a Swisscom router? I thought the update would be triggered by the router.

The use case is simple: I have an OpenVPN server installed at home and I want to be able to reach easily.
