Multiple email accounts using Outlook 2013/64bit

Dear All,

I need your HELP/ADVICE.

I have a fiber optic SwissCom connection and I am TRYING to use my new PC WIN 10PRO/64bit and Outlook 2013/64bit for 2 private email accounts….

My professional email account using my company MS Exchange server and http connection is working fine also from my home using LAN or WiFi…

With my 30 years ICT experience I was expecting to setup my 2 email accounts (see below) in 1 min…. but today after 2 weeks contacting 0800800 help desk, Googling on different Outlook and email server erros I am giving up….

Here is my setting/problem

1. My personal Bluewin email account using IMAP server

2. My company backup email system using POP3 server

I am CAREFULLY following from the Bluewin email Help page all in/out server settings and port numbers BUT I am constantly receiving for both account settings outgoing SMTP email server authetification erorr 530

SwissCom Assistant software is - useless becasue didn’t recognize Outlook 2013….so no help…

SwissCom help desk at 0800800800 REFUSED to help me that they support ONLY INTERNET connection problems?? But not application problems?? (WHAT?)

I hope an BLUEWIN email server technical support will read my post and reply to me.

Have you tried to change the server settings with and without SSL?

Server settings for the Inbox:


	Without SSL encryption	With SSL encryption
IMAP4	imap.bluewin.ch (Port 143)	imaps.bluewin.ch (Port 993)
POP3	pop.bluewin.ch (Port 110)	pop3s.bluewin.ch (Port 995)

TNX - Inbox is NOT a problem…

The problem is SENDING emails - outgoing server authentification for non xxx@bluewin.email address.

By the way, My Swisscom Assistant software is compatible with Outlook (2003 - 2016).

Yes - I know about this tool but the outgoing SMTP port numbers are not correct…not working….

Finally I was able to find an SMTP port number (myself) not listed in the Swisscom tool, but I don’t want to post it here because SwissCom may close it😞…
