Swisscom Loyalty Offers incentivises you to actually LEAVE

My 24 month contract is up for renewal - Swisscom refers me to it's "Loyalty offer for a new phone at an attractive price".However the price is actually 40chf more than a new customer, as it seems they want to charge me for a new sim card (Huh?)

So dear Swisscom, where is my reward for being loyal.?

Here it is....Orange however offers me the same phone at half the price, on a cheaper contract with more data and SMS's.

No incentive to stay with Swisscom on this one.

Anyone from Swisscom marketing care to comment?

simple: talk to them and they will discount you the 40,- CHF for the sim card (that you already have).

By the way: I don't think that Swisscom Marketing will reply here since that's a customer-to-customer forum

That's so funny, I noticed the same thing! I called and asked them about it and told them that after years of being their faithful client, I felt this "loyalty offer" was a joke and a slap in the face. Then I started comparing prices betweenn Swisscom and the other 2major Swiss telephone companies and saw that with Sunrise, I save CHF 150 on the celphone and pay CHF 10 less each month. SO, you know what I'm gonna do???,lol

I called them about this and they said it is a charge to register the new Phone.

If you pay the full price for a new Phone say in Digitek then you don't need to pay 40,-- to register it!!
