iPhone Swisscom TV-Guide app suggestion

Just started using the new iPhone app to manage my recordings on Swisscom TV. It's great 🙂

Suggestion: using this app let me DELETE programmes from my Swisscom/Bluewin recording box at home. Why? When traveling, if I actually see my favorite programme(s) then I immediately want to delete the version of it that I've recorded back at home so that I free up space on the disk. What better way to do this than through this great, secure iPhone app! Many thanks for considering this.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. We are currently working on various enhancements for the iPhone app and will release updates during the year, including a DELETE function.

I just noticed that the 'Delete' function has been implemented in the iPhone app! But, sadly, it doesn't work for me 😞

What happens is this: I go into 'My recordings', swipe to the right and the red 'Delete' button appears. I touch that and the dialog box comes up with 'Do you really want to..' etc, etc with the choices of 'Cancel' and 'OK'. I touch 'OK' and the app just dies, blows away, call it what you will. I find myself looking at a screenful of other icons. Does this work for anybody else? I've tried this on both an iPhone 4 and a 4S both running the latest version of IOS (5.0.1)

Well, you have to admit it, that was really close! I checked in the App Store and it said it had been updated today and obviously they hadn't even had the time to run the procedure to inform me that there was an update pending. So I downloaded the update, tested it and it worked - so many thanks. It's much appreciated but I can't help thinking that this was a big coincidence, you know, me asking for it again after a wait of weeks and weeks and then the day I mention it I'm told it's been fixed.

Anyway, it's a very useful app - keep up the good work! 🙂
