Yes, I agree that outages should "normally" be published where you say - but this one never was. The BlackBerry services are apparently back and working as of Wednesday night-Thursday morning, after an outage of two days.
I spoke to the BlackBerry technical team and apparently it was one more problem with the central RIM communication handling infrastructure. My point remains the same though: Swisscom should be publishing information about important outages when they happen, and in this case they clearly did not.
