Swisscom Box 21: 3 minutes to charge

    • Our Swisscom box takes almost 3 minutes to load when we switch it on to watch TV. What can we do to improve the speed of data loading?

    • You are talking about the cold start time after switching on the power.

      If you are not prepared to accept the approx. 80 seconds, which is actually the case in reality, then you can adjust the settings on the TV box so that it does not switch off completely, but remains in normal standby, then it will only take a few seconds to wake up again.

      To do this, switch off the energy-saving mode or deep standby in the system menu of the TV box.

    The Box21 does not have a battery that can be charged….

    If you want it to start faster, you have to switch to energy-saving mode in the settings….
