My partner and I are moving from our home in Aargau to his parents’ house in the canton of Solothurn. We currently have an internet contract with Swisscom that has a 36-month duration. The contract started on December 6, 2023, and is set to end on December 6, 2026.
Since we are moving into a household that already has an existing internet connection, we would like to know if it is possible to terminate our contract early. Are there any special conditions for cancellation in such cases? Would there be any penalties or alternative solutions offered by Swisscom?
