Is it possible to stay separately at the different Swisscom services? Swisscom Login

Hello community,

For some time now, I have been wondering if it would be possible to identify (log in) to the various Swisscom services, such as:

- My Swisscom

- Webmail

- Community

separately and independently with the Swisscom Login.

If I understand correctly, today, [a single gesture of identifying yourself with Swisscom Login gives us access to all](https://www.swisscom.ch/fr/clients-prives/aide/donnees-et-factures /le-swisscom-login.html “Swisscom Login: one access for everything”) the Swisscom services, at the same time, in condition “logged” to all services, even if I only use one service, right?

I would like, and this is my personal preference of course, to identify only one service that interests me, each time.

What I don’t want is to leave “in lodged state” on services that I am not currently using.

Is this possible? Is there any way to do that?

From experience, I see that:

- the service: blue TV seems independent of the “Disconnect” gesture made on other services.

- the gesture of “disconnecting” on one of the services: My Swissom, [webmail](https://www. bluewin.ch/fr/email/ “Webmail”) and Community, we disconnect completely other services, or access would be limited (as in the case of My Swisscom).

Thank you very much for your enlightenment, in advance.

Very nice summer day to you!

@tn No, there is only one login, there is no separate login for the different services. However, it is not true that one automatically signs up for all services when one signs up for a service. For example, if you only register for MySwisscom, you only register for MySwisscom and not for Community, Webmail or Blue TV.

Thank you @Gaeilgeoir for your lines.

I have:

i.) verified that I was not hosted on “Webmail

ii.) checked that I was not already housed on “Community

I was fine offline for both services.

Then I have:

iii.) hosted on “Community” with Swisscom Login

iv.) open the “Webmail” page by clicking the link: https://www.bluewin.ch/fr/email/

And I see that I am well accommodated and online on “Webmailwithout me making the gesture of staying specifically at this service.

I need to try with another browser, another operating system (Windows, perhaps).

Thank you for taking your time to address my concerns.

Very nice evening to you, to the community. Cordialement, tn.

    Hello tn

The login page clearly states that it is a centralized authentication mechanism that is used for all services. This is called an sso (single sign-on). The advantage is that access to different services is managed in one place.

When you access one of the services, the service asks the sso authentication server if there is an active session and if this is the case it directly receives authorization to open the service. If the session has expired, you must reintroduce the password in the login window displayed to continue.

We can see this phase if we observe the addresses (url) which scroll quickly in the browser status line before the home page is displayed.

It will happen the same way regardless of the browser or OS used.

Hello to the speakers and the community.

My feeling is that I am not reassured to know that I am accommodated in services that I do not use and above all I did not choose.

As @merinos rightly says the word: security.

This is why I chose the “Internet Security” section to post my question.

I would like to accommodate one service at a time, when I choose to accommodate.

And I would like to close the session after I leave the concerned service by unlogging.

This evening, I only visited “Webmail” once.

By this single gesture, I was put “in lodged state” on “My Swisscom” and here “Community”.

Many people will think that this is practical, but I don’t feel reassured.

How could I close all open services if I didn’t know that they were open without my knowledge?

If I understand correctly, the rethink is that:

    - you cannot identify yourself to only one service at a time when staying with Swisscom Login.

    - there is no way for a user to choose which service they accept to be “in a lodged state”.

    Is that right?

Thank you very much to the speakers for reading and following the thread of my question. 😉

It may be a small thing, but it’s important to me, anyway.

Very nice evening to all, cordially, tn.
