Going out of our minds.
We have TV box connected to Samsung TV via HDMI port 1. TV is connected to internet via Wifi (I think). When we switch from PS4 source that uses HDMI port 3 back to Port 1 it says that the power on the device is not on and says we should power it on by selecting the power button. Selecting power button just makes a beep but no change.
1) turning off entire system for 10 seconds does nothing
2) turning off wifi and then turning on TV and box does nothing
3) switching HDMI cable has no effect
4) manually linking remote device does not work--it does not show and TV channels--just black screen
5) have done multiple scenarios including plugging and unplugging HDMI, powering off the TV box for 10 seconds, etc.
Now cannot watch TV channels but can watch Netlflix,
TV not cheap in Switzerland at over 200 CHF a month for family bundle--any suggestions on how to restore our large video screen into a functioning TV that reeives cable?
