Swisscom phases out old subscriptions

Dear Community,

As of 1 July 2024, we will be removing the older subscriptions blue TV S (5.–), blue Internet S (40) and the Multiroom option (5.–) from our product range. It has not been possible to order these products for some time. We will therefore migrate the contracts affected to our current subscriptions and options, which offer better service.

Affected customers will receive the new product at the old price for the first month.

The customers in question will be notified in writing during April and May. The migration will take place automatically on 1 July 2024. If customers wish to switch to a different product, they may do so at any time. Contact us

Why can Swisscom do this, when they make vast profits. Can it be k

legal to just cancel at a month's notice is it even legal at all? 6 month's grace would be a nicer support for customer loyalty!

Swisscom is profiteering as usual. The only way to fight this tendency is to support competition. For those that can move to a cheaper provider, I suggest you do so. After all, in most locations it is possible to have high speed internet for CHF 40 per month. If those providers do not service your area, your connection may anyway not be capable of the potentially higher speed Swisscom describes. Especially in this case, I recommend you look into satellite service offered by the company of a certain famous tech entrepreneur ( S t a r l i n k ). It offers service for nearly 25% less than Swisscom's new unjustifiably higher price for blue Internet S.
