Calls from the EU to Switzerland with Mobile L included

  • I’m currently working my way through the tariff jungle. I have Swisscom Mobile L.

    The tariff states that you can call Switzerland from Switzerland to the EU and also within the EU.

    It is missing From the EU to Switzerland (So if I now call someone in Switzerland from Germany).

    When I search I always find that I have to buy some options. But I actually can’t believe that? Does anyone know about it? Thanks

    • @Koniferski With Mobile L, as you correctly discovered, you can make unlimited calls from the EU to Switzerland, that’s no problem, by the way, that’s also the case with the M subscription, but the calls from Switzerland are there in the EU/UK/ not included, with the L it is.

    @Koniferski with the blue Mobile M and the “International Calls” option it goes in both directions (USA, Canada, EU).

    I’ve been thinking about switching from the M to the L for a long time (because it’s cheaper), but since the L only works in one direction (USA, Canada), I decided not to and just use the option.

    I still use the “Connect Pack” option for speed and additional SIM cards.

    Then the detailed information (2nd screenshot) is correct, you would just have to write it in the short info (1st screenshot), where the direction EU->CH is not listed, ok?

    @Koniferski yes, that’s how it is, with mobile phone subscriptions you have to be careful like a bookmaker so that you don’t make a mistake and end up with the wrong subscription.

    Anyone who reads everything carefully is always at an advantage, even the small print.

    Nowadays there is always more appearance than reality!

    That’s what I’m doing right now.
    CH -> CH

    CH -> EU

    EU -> EU

    are included in the L above in both screenshots.
    EU -> CH

    It is not in the first overview, but only in the detailed view, which I would also consider binding.

    @Koniferski Of course the detailed view is also binding! There’s more to consider, but presenting everything in a short overview would probably be a bit too much. At least they made improvements in Mobile M; the passage “Calls from CH to the EU/UK are not included” was not listed in the short overview for a long time (although it was in the detailed view), which led to confusion and again and again here in the forum was discussed, now it’s in the short overview and so it’s clearer. I would at least include the point you mentioned in the short overview, as it is also a selling point. Maybe a moderator will read along and can pass it on.

    Thanks.

    you would have to write in the short overview:

    Unlimited in CH

    Unlimited CH to EU/UK/USA/Canada

    Unlimited within EU/UK, also to CH

    That would then be clear and correspond to the detailed version and no longer
